From a 1917 soda fountain to a 24-hour Pottsville landmark.

The original Coney Island was established in 1917 on Centre Street in the downtown district of Pottsville, Pennsylvania — the social center of Schuylkill County's bountiful anthracite coal region. Today's Yorkville home, just a couple miles up the road, serves the same family recipe with a twist of contemporary fun: tavern, drive-thru, patio, fire pit, and the new tiki bar — open every hour of every day.
